Houstonians Create Local TX Legislative Hearings, Deliver Message to State Legislators: You Do Not Represent Us!

Houston, TX – On Saturday, July 29, Houston workers, neighbors, parents, youth, and people of conscience will hold a public hearing in response to the current Texas Special Legislative Session. This legislative year will cement the legacy of Governor Abbott, Dan Patrick and extreme politicians as the people who waged attacks on women’s health, public education, workers, communities of color, communities of faith, immigrants, local government, and the LGBTQ community — all Houstonians, and Texans.
